Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They have passed our tests for cleaning, and can handle different flooring. Choose models that allow you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models work with smartphones. Find an app that allows you to save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The gloss black and gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It makes use of lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app that lets you set up schedules and modify the behavior of the S1.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and also a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls and even over raised thresholds without any problems. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or carpet.
The docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can be able to accommodate 12 mopping sessions, however it will differ dependent on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. It is necessary to regularly wash out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. You will also need to clean your swivel wheel and sensors regularly to avoid them getting clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for cleaning. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with many unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning to avoid obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
This robot combo is easy to install and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges for those areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and replenished whenever required. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction which can effortlessly remove dirt and other debris that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it can sometimes get caught in the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can reduce by creating a virtual boundary within the application). Its mopping capabilities are also excellent and include a pair of mops which are able to lift and scrub floors instead of drag the pad across it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation as needed. The mops can also be refilled at the top of the station if needed.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power is enhanced by an additional side brush that automatically extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart, navigating narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It is able to move from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than its competitors, however, and tends to leave a large space over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a stable internet connection to use it through the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up dirt and debris but it's not always able to be able to reach every piece of dust. It is important to clean frequently, every week. This is especially important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your home Wi-Fi network, and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is an unadorned version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities and has a plastic body.
Although it's no longer able to mop floors, the Q5 has the best mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever application that lets you choose your floor type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was among the few robots that we tested to not have problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
